Designing the human experience of change.
I help retreats, recovery centres and wellbeing organisations design programmes people actually feel, not just attend. Two decades in: 1,000+ people coached, 300+ workshops run, one belief proven every time.
Start with the person, not the programme.

Hi, I'm Shazia.
I design and deliver programmes that put people first, breathwork, coaching, trauma-informed facilitation, always shaped around who's actually in the room. I've spent the past two decades working across retreats, recovery communities and non-profits, and I still believe the same thing I believed on day one: no two people experience change the same way, so no two programmes should either.

No two people experience change in the same way.

People arrive with different stories, strengths and challenges. Some are navigating burnout, grief, big transitions or recovery. Others simply want to grow. That's why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all programmes.
Whether I'm working with a recovery community, a retreat centre or a non-profit, I start by understanding the people in the room, before I think about the programme itself.
The experiences we remember most aren't the ones with the busiest agenda. They're the ones where we felt understood, safe enough to engage, and able to take something real away with us.
Those are the experiences I help organisations build.
My guiding principles
- People before programmes.
- Listen before designing.
- Psychological safety before change.
- Design for the people in front of you, not a template.
- Focus on what people carry forward, not just what happens in the room.
Who I work with
Different rooms, the same starting point — the people in them.
Retreats & Wellbeing
Designing and running workshops that support real reflection and lasting change, from a single session to full retreat programming.
Recovery Communities
Programmes built around psychological safety and genuine connection, not just structure.
Non-Profits & Mission-Led Organisations
Helping teams build programmes that genuinely reflect the people they exist to serve.
I'd love to hear from you.
A genuine 20-30 minute conversation to understand what you're building, what you need, and whether I'm the right person to help.
What people say
Shazia has a wonderful ability to make complex ideas feel simple and relevant. Her sessions brought together neuroscience, reflection and practical tools in a way that really connected with our guests. She created a warm environment where people felt comfortable participating and sharing.
Shazia brought something very human to the experience. Her breathwork session gave people an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with themselves and experience the event in a completely different way. The response from participants was incredibly positive.
Shazia understands how to read a room and adapt an experience to the people in it. She created a session that was engaging, thoughtful and genuinely different from a traditional workshop. People left talking about the experience, which is always a good sign.
I came to Shazia at a time when I was carrying a lot of grief that I didn't really know how to process. I felt safe with her very quickly. Through our work together, including Brainspotting, I was able to explore things I had struggled to put into words and begin to understand what was happening underneath them. Her warmth and lack of judgement made a huge difference to me.
Working with Shazia helped me understand how experiences from my past were still affecting the way I was responding to situations in my life today. She never made me feel like something needed to be 'fixed'. Instead, I felt listened to and supported while finding my own way through it. I left our sessions understanding myself differently.
Let's create something meaningful together.
Whether your idea is still taking shape or your programme has been running for years, I'd love to hear about the people you're designing for.
